The singular voice of Kevin Gonzalez has already gained attention since he established his own recording studio, Spin ‘n’ Groove Productions in 2001. With his excellent training, technique and experience, Kevin is in a very fortunate position to stretch musical boundaries and invigorate new approaches to current projects. Fluency is evident in his wide-ranging repertoire, encompassing jazz, rock, classical, hip-hop, house, dance, techno and Latin styles, making him not only a strategic production player but also an established disc jockey for popular events and establishments throughout New York and around the world.
Kevin has performed and recorded through Five Town’s College with many major acts and has involved himself in a program known as “SUM” (Students United in Music). Most recently his lyrics were used to compose in a variety of settings: bands, chamber ensembles, orchestras, in the studio and on stage in concert and festival venues across Canada and the United States. Kevin has also collaborated with well-known stage productions, CD musical recordings and radio/television commercials.
